New York bands Stove and Dirty Dishes (of Exploding in Sound Records) are making a stop at Champaign’s favorite DIY spot, Thee Deathtower. For some reason, no matter the day of the week there’s always a promising crowd at the Champaign venue and shows always seem well-attended. Don’t let the “Monday night” tag dissuade you. Champaign bands Withershins and Windmills (both Heirship Records acts) will help draw in the local crowd and presumably sandwich Stove and Dirty Dishes’ sets.

Santah (Record Release)
with Divino Nino / Paperhaus / Ida y Vuelta
Lincoln Hall (Chicago, Ill.)
9 p.m. | $12 advanced, $15 door | Friday, November 20
Chicago-based band Santah will be celebrating the release of their latest record Chico on Friday night. Chicago acts Divino Nino and Ida y Vuelta will be in support, alongside Paperhaus. While the $25 VIP ticket package that offering signed CDs may be a little presumptuous, the show will definitely be worth the face-ticket admission. Santah has proven time again to put on an excellent, polished live show and the supporting acts are no different.
