If you’ve had your ears even halfway open the last few months, then you know there have been more than a few killer lo-fi jams released from female-fronted bands like Waxahatchee, Girlpool, and Daddy Issues. Now you can add Nectar’s “Fishy” to the list.

Kamila Glowacki’s project will be sharing a 7″ vinyl split with label mates Single Player (FD: Sean Neumann of Ghost Track), recorded last October and due out on Rat King Records in the next few weeks. “Fishy” features happily heavy guitar and drums sandwiched between Glowacki’s bass and vocals that march with simple lyrics, giving you a tasty nugget of garage-pop goodness that should fit nicely into your summertime slow-roll rotation.

Nod your noggin along with Nectar, Cal and the Calories, Tenement and others at Day Two of Dumb Fest 3-D in Springfield on June 13. Purchase tickets here.
